Both flows above are demo runs on a mock connector — faithful to what the passenger sees, but the seat and boarding-pass writes are simulated until DCS access is signed. That distinction is deliberate.

App distribution — the store links live here

Neither carrier has a passenger app today, so ABPO ships co-branded apps. The Play Store and App Store links, deep links and install QR codes are managed and published from this dashboard.

How distribution works from here

StepAction in this dashboardOwner
1Reserve the package name (zm.proflight.passenger) and the App Store bundleABPO
2Publish the co-branded build; the store link is generated and stored hereABPO
3Link is pushed into WhatsApp (sender CTA), SMS and the airline websiteABPO + carrier
4Install + activation analytics flow back to this consoleABPO
Links shown are placeholders. The store URLs are formatted correctly and the QR codes are real scans, but no listing is live yet — the IDs are reserved placeholders until the carriers sign and the builds ship. Nothing here claims a live app store presence.

The gap

Both Zambian carriers: no app, no loyalty program. Proflight already runs WhatsApp by hand — demand exists, tooling does not.

The wedge

Formalise Proflight's manual WhatsApp into the ABPO engine, then ship the coalition loyalty currency neither carrier has.

The moat

The loyalty wallet spans airlines and banks and retail — no single carrier could build that alone.
Sources: the carriers' own websites and live Play Store / App Store search. Aggregator sites that claim a Zambia Airways app appear to confuse it with Ethiopian Airlines; direct evidence shows none. Verify again at pitch time.

DCS / app-access ask — one page

The single document that unblocks live check-in. Print it, mail it, take it to the meeting.

To: Proflight Zambia — Commercial & IT · and Zambia Airways — Commercial & IT
From: ABPO (Aviation BPO, Lusaka)  ·  Re: WhatsApp check-in, co-branded app and loyalty — access request  ·  Ref: ABPO-ASK-1.0

ABPO already runs the passenger conversation layer these flows depend on. To move from assisted check-in to live check-in, we ask for four things — all scoped, all revocable.

  1. DCS servicing access — a read/write interface (direct API or a middleware you nominate) limited to: booking lookup, seat availability, check-in, boarding-pass issuance. No fare, revenue or inventory writes.
  2. Authorisation to issue boarding passes over WhatsApp, under your brand and your IATA rules, with ABPO as an authorised servicing agent.
  3. Permission to publish a co-branded passenger app on Google Play and the Apple App Store, registered to ABPO as publisher, with the store links managed in the ABPO dashboard.
  4. A data-processing agreement — consent, retention, cross-border transfer and audit terms aligned to Zambia's Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021.

What you get

24/7 channel without growing headcount
Containment target > 85% automated
Loyalty currency you don't have to build
Full audit trail on every transaction

Security & control

Least-privilege, per-endpoint scopes
Immutable audit log, 12-month retention
No card data; PII minimised and tokenised
Access revocable at any time, per scope
Pilot proposal: start with Proflight's domestic network for 90 days, one route pair, success measured on containment and check-in completion. Expand to Zambia Airways on results.
